a door left cracked

a door left cracked is not an album about healing. It’s about what happens when you almost do. These songs live in the space between relapse and recovery, love and dependency, being seen and disappearing on purpose. Every track feels like a conversation you were never supposed to hear out loud — the quiet moments after the chaos, the guilt that lingers into morning, the parts of yourself you keep trying to lock away only to find the door still slightly open. This project isn’t built on clean endings or perfect growth. It’s built on exhaustion, craving, grief, self-destruction, toxic love, and the terrifying self-awareness of knowing exactly what’s hurting you while still reaching for it anyway. The piano stays close. The vocals stay raw. Nothing hides behind perfection. A Door Left Cracked is for the people who are tired of pretending they’re healed just because they survived. For the ones learning that sometimes staying alive is the only victory they can carry. Not every door closes completely.
Some stay cracked open long enough to let the darkness back in.
